Getege respects your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data for candidates, employers, recruiters, and visitors under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and other laws.
Candidate Data:
Employer/Recruiter Data: Company details, job postings, contact info, payment data.
Usage Data: IP address, browser, pages visited, device info.
Cookies: Track preferences, analytics (see Cookie Policy).
Candidates: Match with jobs, send opportunities, improve algorithms.
Employers: Provide candidate shortlists, analytics, billing.
All: Platform operation, support, fraud prevention, legal compliance.
Data processed only for specified purposes with your consent where required (DPDP §5).
With Consent: Your profile shared with employers when you apply/interested.
Service Providers: Payment gateways, cloud hosting (AWS/GCP), email (secure processors).
Legal: Court orders, government requests, DPDP Board notifications.
Business Transfers: Mergers/acquisitions (successor notified).
No selling of personal data. International transfers use Standard Contractual Clauses.
Opt-Out: Pause profile visibility anytime.
Download: Export all your data via profile settings.
Delete: Right to erasure (DPDP §12) - permanent deletion within 72 hours.
Withdraw Consent: Update preferences or contact support.
Active Profiles: While account exists.
Inactive: 24 months post-last activity, then anonymized.
Legal Holds: As required by law (tax, disputes).
Hired candidates: 5 years for audit/compliance.
Industry-standard encryption (AES-256), access controls, regular audits, SOC 2 compliant. Data breaches notified per DPDP Rules within 72 hours to Data Protection Board and affected users. Cannot guarantee absolute security.
Services not for under 18. No knowing collection of children's data.
Links to external sites (LinkedIn, job boards) not controlled by us. Review their policies.
