Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineering Lead to oversee our development and operations teams. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing our system reliability, fostering a culture of collaboration, and ensuring the deployment of high-quality software. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of DevOps practices within the team.
- Mentor and guide the team on cloud technology initiatives.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery.
- Ensure high availability and security of services in production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements.
- Automate routine tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance issues promptly.
- Establish and maintain monitoring systems to track application performance.
- Implement best practices for configuration management.
- Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficient in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
- Understanding of networking and firewall configurations
- Ability to write scripts in Python, Shell, or similar languages
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Proficient in version control systems (Git)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Terraform or similar tools
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with database management systems
- Experience in team leadership
- Certifications in cloud technologies
