Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for Android devices.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
  • Debug and optimize application performance to ensure optimal user experience.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of applications to identify and fix bugs.
  • Implement best practices in code quality and version control using Git.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers on code quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile technology and suggest improvements for mobile applications.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver project milestones.
  • Document application design processes and code for ensuring future collaboration.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android development.
  • Experience with Android SDK and its frameworks.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Ability to debug and optimize application performance.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and team collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of SQL databases and application integration.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Firebase and push notifications.
  • Knowledge of third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Familiarity with unit testing and continuous integration processes.
  • Experience with Android Jetpack components.
