Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Solutions Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on enhancing our deployment pipelines, ensuring system reliability, and fostering a culture of collaboration between our development and operations teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in cloud technologies and automation tools. You'll play a critical role in driving innovation and implementing best practices in our infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Monitor and maintain system reliability and performance across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with software engineers to improve development workflows and tooling.
- Automate repetitive tasks to enhance operational efficiency in cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and application performance.
- Utilize infrastructure as code tools for management and deployment of resources.
- Participate in on-call rotations and supports incident management processes.
- Ensure compliance with security and best practices within the architecture.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior team members on DevOps practices.
Required Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong experience in Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation.
- In-depth understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Expertise in monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana and ELK stack.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
- Ability to work in a distributed team environment.
