Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled ETL Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration and ETL processes. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL solutions to support data-driven decision making across our organization. Your expertise will contribute to improving data quality and optimizing performance while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to define data requirements and integration specifications.
- Monitor and optimize ETL processes for performance and reliability.
- Implement error handling and data validation measures throughout ETL pipelines.
- Create and maintain documentation for established ETL processes and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and pipeline performance.
- Conduct regular audits of data quality and ETL processes to ensure compliance with standards.
- Work with database teams to ensure data models are optimized for ETL processes.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold best practices and quality in ETL development.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
- Proficient in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Experience with data modeling and database design.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or Java for automation tasks.
- Understanding of cloud platforms and services, especially AWS or Azure.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug ETL processes effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
