Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to enhance our testing efficiency and ensure the highest quality of our software products. In this position, you will develop automated test scripts, improve existing testing frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects. Your contributions will play a crucial role in our commitment to delivering reliable and high-performing applications to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated test scripts for various applications
- Conduct functional testing and regression testing to ensure software quality
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle
- Maintain and enhance existing testing frameworks for better efficiency
- Analyze test results and report on quality metrics
- Drive root cause analysis for any defects found during testing
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation
- Participate in continuous integration and delivery processes
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced QA team members
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java or Python for test automation
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or JUnit
- Solid understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or JMeter
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with mobile testing
- Knowledge of cloud environments
- Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD)
- Proficiency in database testing
- Experience with security testing tools
