Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ETL Data Integration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data integration solutions that meet our business objectives. This role will require a strong understanding of data transformation processes and the ability to work with various data sources. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and performance, contributing significantly to our data-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement ETL processes to enhance data flows between different systems
- Perform data transformation and ensure data quality throughout the integration process
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for data integration
- Monitor and optimize ETL performance to meet service level agreements
- Create and maintain documentation related to data integration workflows
- Conduct data quality assessments and implement data cleansing strategies
- Develop automated testing processes for ETL pipelines
- Troubleshoot issues related to data integration and implement solutions promptly
- Stay updated with the latest trends in data integration technologies
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database management
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Ability to design and optimize data models
- Familiarity with programming languages for scripting (Python, Java, etc.)
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot data issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau
- Knowledge of machine learning principles
