Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Automation Specialist to join our team. You will work closely with developers and other team members to identify defects, create test plans, and maintain testing frameworks. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated tests to ensure software quality
- Develop and maintain test scripts for various applications
- Identify, analyze, and report defects in software
- Work with the development team to enhance testing frameworks
- Perform regression testing to confirm that existing functionality is not broken
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans
- Maintain documentation of the testing process
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability
- Continuously improve the automation processes
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in automation testing tools
- Strong coding skills in Java or Python
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of REST API testing
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Ability to analyze and report test results
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with UI testing frameworks
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Experience with performance testing tools
