Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Android Mobile App Engineer to join our dynamic development team. This role will involve designing and developing user-friendly mobile applications for Android devices. The ideal candidate should have a passion for mobile technology and a strong understanding of modern development practices. You will collaborate with designers and other engineers to create seamless and high-quality mobile experiences that engage our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement mobile applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design new features for Android apps.
- Ensure the quality of the mobile solutions through unit testing and code reviews.
- Optimize application performance and responsiveness to enhance user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve our applications.
- Debug and resolve technical issues across the application stack.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for the mobile development process.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprints and retrospectives.
- Contribute to app store optimization and ensure compliance with platform guidelines.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK and development tools such as Android Studio.
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for mobile applications.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug mobile applications.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Understanding of app store submission processes and guidelines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with React Native or Flutter for cross-platform development.
- Knowledge of Cloud Services such as Firebase or AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices for mobile applications.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
