Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineering Manager to lead our DevOps team and drive the integration of development and operations. This role is critical in automating processes and enhancing our software delivery lifecycle. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in cloud technologies, CI/CD practices, and team leadership. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation while ensuring operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to enhance skills and performance.
- Develop and implement DevOps strategies that align with company goals.
- Oversee the deployment of applications in various environments efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure high availability and performance of critical infrastructure components.
- Manage the CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery.
- Collaborate with software development teams to improve development processes and workflows.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify and implement tools for automation and monitoring purposes.
- Facilitate security practices in the software deployment process.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet).
- In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Understanding of networking concepts and architectures.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools and strategies.
