Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Automation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through automated testing processes. You will work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements, create test plans, and maintain automation frameworks. Your expertise will help enhance our testing efficiency and overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automated test scripts for software applications
- Collaborate with the development team to identify test requirements
- Execute test cases and analyze results for software releases
- Maintain and optimize existing testing frameworks
- Provide feedback on software quality and potential improvements
- Report and track defects in testing and production environments
- Assist in the development of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met
- Train and mentor junior team members on testing best practices
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Selenium and other automated testing tools
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java or Python
- Knowledge of API testing frameworks
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Ability to design test strategies and documentation
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
